Prayer and study tools from BD TECH. The first is Siddur Pure Intention — a free siddur in four nusachim that shows only what is said at today's prayer, with the Hebrew calendar and the zmanim computed on the device. Two more are in development.

How the text is chosen
Today's additions, and nothing else
The app derives the day's halachic tokens — Shabbat, Rosh Chodesh, chol hamoed, Chanukah, Purim, fast days, the Omer, the rainy season, the days without Tachanun — and gates the text against them. Single insertions such as Ya'aleh V'yavo and Al HaNissim, and whole sections such as Hallel, Mussaf and Selichot.
When it isn't certain, it doesn't guess
An untagged passage stays visible with its printed rubric, exactly as in a paper siddur. On the two Mussaf switch-over days the app cannot know whether you are before or after Mussaf, so it shows both formulas with the printed instruction rather than picking one.
It follows the prayer, not only the date
Maariv rolls the Hebrew day forward, so on the eve of Rosh Chodesh it already shows Ya'aleh V'yavo and on Motzaei Shabbat it shows Ata Chonantanu. Sefirat HaOmer is gated on the actual sunset, so someone counting during the day sees the count they owe.
Four nusachim and three switches
Edot HaMizrach, Ashkenaz, Sefard and Chabad — switch at any time and the whole book, including the rules, follows. Davening with a minyan, Israel or the diaspora, and walled cities are switches too, not separate editions.
Zmanim, Tehillim, Shnayim Mikra, and the direction to Jerusalem
27 halachic times for your location, each with an explanation and the formula behind it; the full book of Tehillim by chapter, by the five books, by the 30-day cycle or the weekly one; the week's parsha with Onkelos; and a live compass to the Temple Mount.
Verified against a full year
An automated test suite runs the app's own calendar engine over a year × 3 prayers × 4 nusachim and checks every rule — 34,778 assertions, currently all passing. The calendar, the zmanim and the fonts are bundled, so nothing is sent anywhere.
