Selichot Pure Intention.Open it, and it is already on tonight's Selichot.
A free Selichot app in the Sephardic and Ashkenaz rites that opens on the order said today, with Hatarat Nedarim in both rites and a Shana Tova card composer. All offline, with no account and no in-app purchases. Out now on the App Store.
Version 1.2 covers Elul and the Ten Days of Repentance in both rites, the Erev Rosh Hashana Hatarat Nedarim texts, and ten greeting-card templates.
Selichot Pure Intention
How the day is chosen
Both rites, in full
Sephardic (Edot HaMizrach) as one complete order after the Torat Emet edition, and Ashkenaz (Lita) as all 14 day-orders from the Wikisource edition. Every Selichot app in the category ships a single rite; a home or a shul where both are said needs two of them.
The Ashkenaz day is computed, not picked from a list
The app works out the actual Selichot day. It starts on Motzaei Shabbat before Rosh Hashana, a week earlier when Rosh Hashana falls on Monday or Tuesday. From there: days one through seven, Erev Rosh Hashana, the Fast of Gedaliah including its deferral from Shabbat, each of the Ten Days by weekday, and Erev Yom Kippur.
It hides itself when Selichot are not said
In the Sephardic rite one order serves all of Elul and the Ten Days, and the button disappears on Shabbat, Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. Outside the season the rest of the app stays fully available.
Hatarat Nedarim in both rites
The Ashkenaz order, and the Sephardic order including the annulment of curses after the Jerusalem custom. The Erev Rosh Hashana text is there, without hunting for it on a phone in shul.
Shana Tova cards, made on your device
Ten designed templates with gouache illustrations. Type a recipient, a blessing and your name. The card is rendered on the device and sent through the system share sheet, so it lands in WhatsApp exactly like a photo. The card has its own language switch, independent of the interface.
Set like a siddur
Vocalized text in FrankRuehlCLM, justified to both edges, gold headings on cream paper, full right-to-left Hebrew, and a table of contents that jumps to any piyut. The texts, the Hebrew calendar, the fonts and the artwork are all bundled — nothing is fetched, and nothing is collected.
